Stories of Faith in a Darkening World

This old world is replete with examples of sacrifice, to bring liberty to the oppressed.

The sixth day of the month of June 1944 saw the largest amphibious landing in history. It began in the early-morning hours as Allied forces landed in Normandy on the northern coast of France. By the end of the day 150,000 Allied soldiers and their accompanying vehicles had landed, with 15,000 killed and wounded. One in ten soldiers died on those beaches, but months later their efforts brought a halt to the Second World War.

In the month of June a Jewish girl, was born, and at age 12, during WWII, Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazi persecution. She wrote a diary that exhibited faith to the world, even though she died at Bergen-Belsan after contracting typhus.

Faith is the bedrock of true Christianity.Spiritually we are now in a time of escalating world-wide religious conflict, that will only be won by the return of Jesus to this earth as the Prince of Peace. Faith is the bedrock of true Christianity.
