We are all faced with little choices every day! Some of these choices are obvious and may even be life-changing decisions. And then there are others that seem so small we hardly even notice them. BUT THERE ARE LITTLE CHOICES WHEN MADE CORRECTLY THAT CAN MAKE HUGE DIFFERENCES! For example:
*Do you laugh at the kid who drops their books in the hallway...or do you stop and help him or her pick them up?
*Do you cheat on your tests...or do you discipline yourself enough to get the knowledge and talent to ace the next one?
*Do you help someone in need...or do you ignore their need or do you take time to listen and encourage them and offer real help?
*Do you always take the easy way out...or do you apply yourself enough to do the hard things that really count?
Okay...right or wrong, such seemingly little choices we make today have a way of compounding themselves into life habits. For example...if you jog for 30 minutes every day, after two or three days you will not notice much change. But if you do this for three or four months, you will notice a big difference in your body.
BUT...knowing the right thing to do and doing it are two different things. The simple, kind, right things to do can be easy...but it also easy NOT to do the right things, too. It's as easy to fall into a bad habit of not doing the right things as it is to do the right things. It may not be easy...but know and do until it becomes your life habit!
"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" (Galatians 6:10).
