Leadership articles for training leaders and staff sessions in your congregation.
Did you know that there is a treasure trove of leadership resource articles, and theological material at your fingertips in Global Christian Center?
Look for the ‘Blue Ribbon’ running across the top of the GCC web page and ‘hover’ your cursor over the Resources tab. You will see a short drop-down list, with one of the items titled ‘Ministry Resources’. Click on it to find hundreds of articles by leading theologians.
These articles are available under six category headings, for easier searching in an area you may need for Church based training, or background reading to supplement training you are doing with prospective, or current leaders. Here are some examples:
Administrative Leadership includes helpful teaching which covers many areas of running a local church.
Bible & Theology provides resources, including the Leadership series by Dr. George M. Flattery, as well as Practical Theology articles by Dr. Gailyn Van Rheenen, Fred Smolchuck, and Jim Roane.
Holy Spirit Studies, is primarily commentary by Dr. George M. Flattery, most of those published in the leather-bound volumes available from Global University. This is treasure indeed! The last item in that section, ‘Holy Spirit Articles’, are articles on Pneumatology written by various authors. This is content you will have difficulty finding elsewhere.
Worship contains two sections. The first, Fire & Form of Worship by Dr. Steve Phifer, has 47 articles especially for leaders of worship, choir and ensembles. The second section has writers like Dr. Charles Harris, many years professor at Central Bible College, and Ross Parsley, Ron Man, Dan Reiland, among other luminaries.
If you are teaching in an area which corresponds with any of the above subjects, you can easily use your syndication membership to augment the content on your church website, where your students can read your selected articles, to give them more background on what you share in Bible Study with them.
