It's Not All Bad

Robert Strand

mobThis world is not falling apart just because the media is filled with stories of riots, crime, corruption, aggression, drug usage and...always, how bad this generation of today's teens are compared to the last generation. I'll have you know this kind of reporting has always made news and probably always will.

This world, however, is held together by something more positive, more constructive but less spectacular than sensational news. It is the EVERY-DAY lives of the greater mass of people who never make the news but who are helping make the world a better place for everyone!

  • Everyday...millions of teens all over this world get up and go to school and study hard to prepare themselves for a better life. It makes no difference where this takes place...just know it takes place. There are teachers who teach with love and the efficiency of a dedicated person.
  • Everyday...there are millions of teens who resist temptations to lie, cheat, or steal for personal gain. These are the ones for whom honesty is a way of life. These have made the decision to live with respect, moral values and decency.
  • Everyday...there are millions of teens who purposely go out of their way to be helpful to others. Good deeds are a natural response to others in need.
  • Everyday...there are millions of teens who have chosen to live a life that is pleasing to others but most importantly a life that brings honor, praise and glory to the God whom they have chosen to serve. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Live it right!

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" (Colossians 3:17).
